The winter race series has begun with a great turnout and perfect racing conditions. Thanks to the Guard for these incredible facilities and all the work that goes into keeping them up. The novice masters group is becoming one of the most competitive classes with lots of new faces, some fast skiers, and surprising shooting skills. Mike Kavanaugh cruised the course and with only two misses, was hard to beat in the Men's Novice class. His wife Joanie had the best shooting of the night with only one miss to capture the Women's Novice race. The experts struggled on the range with the exception of Erin Graham (no surprise here) who skied a fast race with only 3 total misses. Jesse Downs continued his dominance of the winter series, winning the Men's expert class. Thanks to everyone who stayed and helped pick up.Race Dates:
